In Q3 2021, the top travel and local apps on Android in Luxembourg demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps based on Sensor Tower data.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 259 in late June and decreasing to approximately 117 by the end of September. Weekly active users also showed a downward trend, from roughly 4.9K to 4.4K over the same period.

Ryanair experienced a modest fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 198 in early August and dropping to about 88 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, with numbers starting at 689 in late June and ending at 621 by the close of the quarter.

Airbnb observed a steady decline in weekly downloads, from 132 in late June to 66 by the end of September. Active users fluctuated but generally decreased from approximately 2K to around 1.9K during Q3.

WalletPasses | Passbook Wallet showed a peak in weekly downloads of about 133 in mid-August, followed by a decline to 55 by the end of September. Weekly active users also saw a rise to 240 in mid-August before falling to 158 by late September.

VisitLuxembourg, which launched in July 2021, had its highest weekly downloads at 220 shortly after launch but saw a decrease to 32 by the end of September.
